Ought to read Esther Williams' autobiography, and what Johnny did to her while swimming with her when she was a very young woman at a swimming exhibition. It was - let's say - an education for young Esther.

Great article, I wasn't previously aware Johnny Weissmuller was actually born in Europe. Thanks for sharing!


Johnny has always been and will always be the original Tarzan. I even have that picture you posted as a poster in my collection. What I didn't know is that he taught Al Capones son how to swim... great story.
